Bio

Stephen Williams has been a Research Associate in the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory since 1995. He is currently working in agro-ecosytem modeling with focuses on carbon sequestration and historical cropping practices. Previously he has worked in the areas of ungulate herbivory in montane riparian communities (NREL), post-hurricane coastal forest recovery (Clemson University), and modeling pollution in tidal streams (Virginia Institute of Marine Science). Stephen’s undergraduate studies were in Marine Science (University of South Carolina). His graduate studies were in Physical Oceanography at the College of William and Mary.
