Bio
Amy Swan is a Research Associate at the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory at Colorado State University. She received her B.S. in Environmental Management from South Dakota State University. As an undergraduate she worked at EROS Data Center near Sioux Falls, SD, using the Century model and GIS to understand the carbon cycle in different forest types across Costa Rica. She currently contributes to several projects including national and global level soil carbon storage analyses and Emissions Trading through Agricultural Carbon Sequestration (ETACS), a project evaluating socioeconomic and environmental effects on adoption of conservation practices on farms.
