Editing Site Parameters


The Site Parameter Editor dialog box, displayed below, allows you to edit the parameters that describe the site that you are simulating. For example, you will enter the latitude and longitude for your site, soil texture, information about the climate, the initial condition of the organic matter, the initial relative water content, etc.

The source of the site parameters can be either Century5 NetCDF files, or Century4 site.100 files.

For Century4 and DayCent4 site parameter files, which are text files, comments can be inserted at the beginning of the file. Each comment line should begin with one of the following symbols: # ! ;
