For fire events, C is returned as charcoal. For Century, transferred N is mineralized. For DayCent fire, transferred N is ammonium.

REMF(3) Fraction of large wood live component removed. Pools are transferred (1) for a cutting event, to the dead large wood pools; (2) for a fire event, to soil.   0.0 to 1.0  
REMF(4) Fraction of dead fine branches component removed. Pools are transferred (1) for a cutting event, removed from the system; (2) for a fire event, to soil.   0.0 to 1.0  
REMF(5) Fraction of large wood dead component removed. Pools are transferred (1) for a cutting event, removed from the system; (2) for a fire event, to soil.   0.0 to 1.0
