Results from the project, including a demonstration of the GEFSOC Modelling System itself were presented at The Final Project Presentation held at The United Nations Environment Programme Offices in Nairobi Kenya, on the 23rd and 24th May, 2005. The meeting was attended by 45 researchers, policy makers and government representatives from 13 different countries. The group included representatives form USAID, The Indian Council of Agricultural Research and FAPESP - Brazil, all of whom have provided co-funding for the project.  The meeting was opened by Mr Ahmed Djoghlaf The Assistant Executive Director of UNEP & Director of Division of GEF Co-ordination, who pointed out the global importance of the project. Plans have already been made to use the GEFSOC system in other GEF projects. The system will be available for download via the download page of the project website at the end of July 2005.
