GK-12 Project Highlight: Putnam Elementary School Life Zones Garden

Putnam Elementary School in Fort Collins is developing an outdoor laboratory of native plants. This Colorado life zone garden will provide a schoolyard research plot where students can study plant germination, growth, and physiology. The garden also provides an excellent outdoor classroom for fourth graders as they learn about the life zones of Colorado.
