AIRPORT/FLIGHTS
The recommended airport for participants flying to the workshop
is Denver International Airport (DIA). The ground transportation
service will transport participants from DIA to the workshop location
in Fort Collins, Colorado. It is preferred that you arrive DIA
before 9:00 PM on Tuesday, June 3, because of the available shuttle
departure times (see below). More information on DIA can be found
at: http://www.flydenver.com/index.asp
All flights should be purchased through our travel agent, Valerie
Newman at Frosch Travel. Attendees should contact Ms. Newman by
email at valerie.newman@frosch.com to reserve your flight, or
at (970) 282-6710 for U.S.A. participants. Please also mention
that you are an attendee of this conference so that the travel
agent can charge the reservation accordingly.
When choosing your itinerary, please take into consideration
that U.S. Carriers or flights that have U.S. codes must be used
if available. The travel agent will assist you in making sure
that you find an appropriate flight, but if you have any questions
you may also contact Tracy Smith (tracy@nrel.colostate.edu).
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Shamrock Airport Express offers shuttle services to and from DIA
and Fort Collins on a daily basis, leaving Denver hourly between
6:20 AM and 11:20 PM. We will make your reservations for this
service once you provide us with your flight information, unless
you tell us otherwise.
When you arrive at DIA, you will take the tram from the terminal
to the baggage claim/airport entrance. After you go up the escalator
you can follow the signs to the appropriate baggage claim for
any checked luggage, and then return to the courtyard (with the
fountain) to check in at the Shamrock booth. The ground transportation
booths are on either side of the escalator, which is where you
will find Shamrock (above the booth is a green Shamrock sign).
Please note that if you arrive in time for an earlier shuttle,
you can check in early and switch your ticket as long as space
is available. The shuttle will pick you up at Island
5 of the pickup area, which is the last island outside of Door
504 on the West side of the airport. The drive to Fort Collins
takes about an hour and a half, and you will first stop at the
Harmony Transfer Center to board vehicles that will then drop
you off at the Best Western Inn on College Ave. Additional information
about the service can be found on the Shamrock website, at http://www.rideshamrock.com.
Note:
We will send you a confirmation number once we make the reservation
for this service. It is imperative that you have this
number with you as well as identification when you check in at
the Shamrock booth. If you do not have these items, they
will not allow you to board the shuttle, so please remember to
keep them accessible.
Unfortunately, funds will not be available for ground transportation
between DIA and Fort Collins other than the Shamrock Airport Express
(eg. rental cars).

To find information specific to your country or region, you may
go to thewebsite of your nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate by
visiting the US Consular Services at http://www.usembassy.gov and look for information on visas to the USA to see if a visa
is required. Another routeto find out if a visa is required is
to talk to your country consulate. Countries where visas are not
required to enter the USA are listed below:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Denmark, Finland,
France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein,
Luxembourg, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal,
San Marino, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and
United Kingdom.
For these countries, however, special instructions may be required.
Information on this can be found if you follow the link above
to find the page for your country’s embassy. Once there, you will
find the appropriate information on the visa waiver program.
Canadian citizens can click here to see required documentation for
entry into the U.S.
NOTE:
If a letter of invitation is required, please contact diana@nrel.colostate.edu
or tracy@nrel.colostate.edu immediately. Please contact us also
if you have any other problems or questions.
REIMBURSEMENT
If you require reimbursement for any other costs associated with

receipts for these costs. We will also need to make copies of
