This folder contains the files used to run Daycent_Photosyn simulation for rhizosphere priming at Duke FACE site.

Follow the instructions to run the simulations.

1) Open DOS prompt

2) Change directory to the folder

3) Run "batch_priming_co2.bat"



This will run the simulations from spin-up to all the different levels of rhizosphere priming scenarios.  See the batch file for details on simulation order and output file names.  


"dec3" controls the decay rate of microbial pool, "dec5" slow pool, and "dec4" passive pool.


Daily NPP values are in the output files "dc_sip.csv" column "NPP", monthly N uptake in files ".lis" column "eprodf(1)", microbial pool C size in "dc_sip" column "som1c(2)", slow pool C size in "dc_sip" column "som2(2)", and passive pool C size in "dc_sip" column "som3c".


The R script will produced table 2 in the paper, if directory is changed to the appropriate one, and all the output files for spin-up and ambient are removed from the directory.
