School is cool

Since 1992, School is Cool has provided free school supplies to more than 34,000 local students. Organized and managed by CSU employees, the program provides supplies to students in the Poudre School District to make sure they have the tools needed to start the school year off right.

This year, the goal of School is Cool is to help 2,500 students attending school in Fort Collins, Wellington, Timnath, LaPorte and the outlying mountain schools. Last year, the program provided supplies to 2,516 students. Each school determines which students will receive the supplies based on need. Families interested in obtaining School is Cool supplies should contact their student’s school directly. Backpacks are not available for pickup at or through CSU.
