Navigating Adobe Presenter Virtual Lectures
To learn about Adobe Presenter capabilities go to:
http://www.adobe.com/products/presenter/
You will need to download a free copy of Adobe Flash Player (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/) if you don’t already have it.
After the presentation loads you will see a title page. At the bottom of the title page you will see a row of icons and some slide information OR you will see a cluster of icons at the lower right-hand corner of the title page. Find the icon that looks like a little movie camera or three little boxes. Click it! You will toggle between two views.
You will use the view that shows the Outline and Notes view on the right hand side. You can use the Outline view as a navigation tool. You will use the Notes view for text supporting individual slides. Not all slides have notes but most do. This will be your primary view – leave it on!
On the toolbar under the slide you will find a “right-pointing” triangle. Click it to activate animations such as bullet items that are included on the slide or advance to the next slide if the final animation has been played. The little arrows that point to a bar are additional navigation tools for next slide or previous slide.
If a slide is animated, you can use the “slider” under the slide information box to replay parts of the slide. The slider will also indicate if more animations are included on the slide – the slider will not be at the far right side of the slider bar if more bullets are present.
The other icons are currently inactive.
