Our guest on this episode is Dr. Megan Machmuller, a postdoctoral fellow at the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory working in Dr. Matt Wallenstein’s lab.  She received her PhD from the Odum School of Ecology at the University of Georgia.  Megan is researching carbon cycling in the Arctic and is studying the mechanisms responsible for soil carbon storage and release in order to better predict the future fate of arctic carbon. She joined us to talk about her work in the arctic and her love of soils.
