NREL Scholarships

Applications are invited for the Francis Clark Soil Biology Scholarship, and for the James E. Ellis Memorial Scholarship.

Deadline for submission is Monday, June 4, 2021. The scholarships are open to students who have an affiliation with the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory and the Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability and a broad interest in either soils and soil biology (Clark), or relationships between humans and their environments (Ellis).   For more information please click on the links below.

FRANCIS CLARK SOIL BIOLOGY SCHOLARSHIP

Francis Clark Scholarship Information & Application The Francis Clark Soil Biology Scholarship provides support to undergraduate or graduate students in the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory (NREL). Established by Francis and Evelyn Clark, the scholarship reinforces their belief in the importance of continued research in soil biology and maintaining NREL on the cutting edge of science.

JAMES E. ELLIS MEMORIAL GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

James E. Ellis Memorial Scholarship Information & Application The James E. Ellis Memorial Graduate Scholarship provides support to graduate students at NREL. Established in the memory of James Ellis, this scholarship advances knowledge of ecosystems and the humans that rely upon them.
